Hi everyone,

I have had a terrible ten days. I picked up a chest and throat infection from school on my phased return to work. Was in bed all weekend, saw my GP on Monday who prescribed 500mg Amoxycillin 3 times a day for five days. I did not take my Enbrel but continued with leflunomide. I finish my antibiotics tomorrow and still have a dreadful cough and am going boiling hot all the time as if I have a temperature. I have my appetite back and feel more like my old self but cant shift this cough. What do you think? Should I go back to my GP or wait it out over the weekend and see if I improve?

Hi Louise

I think you should go back if you have finished the course as you do not want to get worse over the weekend. Sorry you are having such a rough time of it right now, hoping you will feel better soon.

Best Wishes
